My first semester was spent at a cabin under the foothill of Tâmpa and among the laps of some naughty debauchees, all over the age, in nothing but a red silk robe and carrying Havana cigars I had received as a gift. I learned the Kamasutra through strenuous practice. In the second semester, I showed more interest and tried to be more responsible. I hooked up with a chick in her senior year, and we went on a retreat in Dubai with her millionaire parents' money. I didn't like school, but today I'm going since it's the last day. After all, I'm the principal of the high school.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In September 2022, the group has 9,250 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
