First name? Alain. Last name? Delon. Like the actor. Like the actor. Occupation? Actor. Oh, come on, you're pulling my leg, I've seen an AD movie, he's young, charming, don't you see your hair's gray, you're old. I used to be, M'am, I can also be intrusive, it's not like you didn't use to be young and beautiful. Yes, but I dye my hair. Oh, that explains a lot. If you are AD, I'm Romy Schneider. No way. And why would that be? Well, well she's my ex-wife and more importantly she's dead. And AD is not? So, your name, please. Marlon Brando. Why didn't you say so from the beginning?

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In September 2022, the group has 9,250 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
