Go, if you must, dammit. Why are you still here? Stop bothering others too. Go where you came from. We don't have time to wait for you to make up your mind. This is where work is done. Twelve hours a day. We don't waste time whining. If you miss your family, go already! What do I care about your child or about your sick mother. This is where work is done. Shut the hell up and stop sulking. Are you leaving or staying? Say, you're staying? If you have decided to stay, pluck them out of the ground quickly and tie them up. Because we have orders stacking up. Come on, take them out and put them in the crate.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In October 2022, the group has 9,400 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
