I liked it until yesterday. Macerated with honey. A true antibiotic, antiviral, antiseptic and laxative. It has only one drawback: the strong smell that contaminates everything around. I met the woman of my dreams on Tinder. We were a perfect match: I am divorced, she is divorced, I am an accountant, she is an accountant, I am bald, she's blonde. Yesterday we had our first date. I gave her a huge bouquet of red roses. She smelled it and suddenly turned green: I can't take this, it smells exactly like my ex-mother-in-law's kitchen in Caracal.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In October 2022, the group has 9,400 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
