An older brother, a young one and two twins in between their age. Our mother didn't afford to buy us toys so she made us brothers and sisters to play with each other. This is what we joke about even now when she cannot draw our attention to the toys thrown away all over the house. Now the truth is somewhere in the middle. The youngest one says they tried have kids until they had the perfect one. We calm him down by saying they wanted to make the number even. It is never easy to have all of us together in the same place, but when we are with each other, we learn to become the best version of ourselves to the rest of us.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In October 2022, the group has 9,400 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
