That's it. I do not know what to do anymore. Because of him everything is upside down. I believe he is bad luck. I have tried everything. I even went to a therapist, then to a psychic, Mummy says it's my fault, that I am stupid and I'm not doing anything about it. Well, what does she think, that I am all right with it? I said we should redecorate, change the Feng shui, but with what money? And who with? I've been thinking about making a decision, solving it somehow, but you know how it is: can't live with him, can't live without him. And he drinks a lot. What a fool I was to marry him.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In October 2022, the group has 9,400 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
