Ptui, Joița, what a collection of ugly dolls you have. What the hell, bitch, are they all pincushions? Damn, don't you dare tell me you do spells with them, boo. This one looks like me. Her mouth is sewn with black thread. You want me to shut up, to be mute like Priseacă's woman? Lord have mercy. Never mind, bitch, I have a picture of you and I'll freeze it, things will go bad for you, as they do for all those bitches in my fridge. Honestly, in this heat, I would really like that, Florica. Then I won't freeze you, bitch, I'll put your picture on the steamer pot.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In November 2022, the group has 9,580 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
