There's a trend right now, with the shower for two. Well, back then when I wasn't showering, you guys had no idea that the queue that didn't have meat, actually didn't have cheese and vice versa. When we first had sex, not only was there no hot water, there wasn't any at all. And she'd told me not to... like peasants, and me, right. A week later, when we met, we didn't even have to. We just rubbed our bellies together a bit and that was it. Natural artificial insemination. Ask Joseph, he was short of water too. Back then. In Galilee. Cheers. Merry Christmas.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In November 2022, the group has 9,580 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
