Ruxy, wake up. Come on, girl, leave me alone. Even today, when I have one more hour to spare...Forget about the extra hour! Who do you think is coming to Bran? Elon, Angelina, all the rich people in the world; and look at us, still spending our time at Fratelli, where nothing has happened since 2005, like the fools we are. Oh, great God, please, Lord, let me meet him! But why would you want to meet him, girl? Haven't you seen that he wants to take people to Mars and he calls children X and Y? Screw him, stupid ass. Come on, girl, let's at least take a picture with him! Can you imagine? All the Dutch people would be green with envy.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In January 2023, the group has 10,220 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
