Can you call that a red anymore? She destroyed his Santa costume, she should be thankful she does not get beaten, where was her mind when she washed the clothes? Red clothes go with red clothes, white clothes with white clothes, black clothes with black clothes, you stupid woman, everyone in the company is going to laugh at me, don't you dare wait for me at home, I'll destroy you. He had a point, who the hell has ever seen a salmon-coloured Santa? She wiped her tears, fixed her hair, she will be more careful next time. She wiped her tears, fixed her, no, she already did that, where is her mind? She took off her engagement ring.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In March 2023, the group has 10,790 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, Luchian Abel, and Vlad Mușat. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
