She got up and wiped her hands on the pijamas. Her anger had died down a little. Now she felt the sour taste that came after every disappointment and before she threw up. She looked with disdain at the pile of bloody flesh that lied down before her. You thought you were somebody? You're all the same, she shouted at him. I'm without salt and pepper, ey? I'm not a piece of steak that you can just send back, just because you can't tell what's good. She leaned down to get her knife, then went into the kitchen to wash it off.

(In April 2023, the group has 11,000 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, Luchian Abel, and Vlad Mușat. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
