In the shivering dawn, with my eyes barely open, I couldn't bring myself to get out of the straw mattress and out from under the sheep quilt. I could hear the wood crackling in the stove, a sign that my granddaddy had done his morning routine. And the smell of freshly milked milk from the goat with steaming foam made me dizzy. Come on, granny's darling, the flock's coming in with Good Morning, have a taste and go get some bagels and nuts. Yo', why is our milk so good? Because at night our little sheep nibbles salted corn and watches the starry sky.

(In June 2023, the group has 11,430 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days.
