I'm part of the light, I mutter, half-awake, forcing myself to salute the sun for the third week in a row. It's tough to adapt yourself to a completely opposite schedule. But this time, I'll make it.
New year, new me. A few months, a breakup, a layoff, and a chronic illness diagnosis later, I tidy up and toss my so-called manifestation journal. What an unproper name for it. It's 2 in the morning, and I've gone back to my old habits. The dark night of the soul. Another lousy term.

(In June 2023, the group has 11,430 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days.
