After the 1989 Revolution he sold the land he inherited from his elders and left abroad. He was young then, and thought he could learn to live-in another country. He worked with no contracts for a long time, so were the circumstances, and now when he was retired, money was scarce. He returned to the single house that was his, his parent's house. Each year he tries to plant some vegetables in his little yard and says: "If I had any brains, I would have ploughed and sown, without waiting for you to drop a loaf of bread at my door. Punish me, God!

(In June 2023, the group has 11,430 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, Luchian Abel, and Vlad Mușat. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
