A character travels trough time and informs you about an event that must be avoided, which is also the only way his version that travelled in the past can disappear. They disappear because they wouldn't be able to find their meaning if the journey doesn't have a meaning. Considering the possibility of multiple realities, the event won't happen in a future if it lacks this present and the consequences of the endless events that could happen. This is how the mission will succeed. The problem is in what colour should be the time machine painted?
