For many years, he withdrew into the Cave, here he would give birth to a new world, in his own image and likeness. Every day, a news story-let the stone burn, let the coal burn, let his brain burn, let the vile world outside burn. The first story will be about the new Creation, the second about Love, the third about Sadness, the fourth about Patience, the fifth about Wisdom, the sixth about Power, the seventh about Self-Confidence, following Socrates in the new Creation of the World after the Third World War and the Second Islamic Revolution.

Every morning, one of us would wake up earlier, go down to the kiosk, and buy the newspapers. It was unthinkable to have breakfast without them. We would laugh over coffee, saying that, now that we read them, we were like a cigarette. The words were the tobacco, the newspaper was the paper wrap, and we were the filter, trying to stop some of the harmful substances skillfully woven in. The word peddlers sold us more and more counterfeit goods, which had a bitter taste, like dirty money. So, we didn't smoke the last newspaper.
