As soon as we come out of the shower, where we fucked like it was the last day on Earth, he dragged me by my hair on the hallway toward our bedroom. After a rough beating with the belt and a few hard slaps over the face, he disappeared. I lay down on the floor, still wet and crying in pain, with my body visibly twitching. He came back with a long wire and tied me to my legs. That's all he could do, because the wire was still plugged in.
And so I died. With traces of a belt on my ass, a bruised face, but at least divinely fucked.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In January 2021, the group has 3.000 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, setting their texts within the limit of 500 symbols (in Romanian language, so in English the limit might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise with an almost daily changed topic. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
