At first, he had her agent call her, you know, woman to woman. But nothing happened. After a while he decided to call her personally, cause like, his name would surely ring a bell. But in two years he only received an answer three times, and he never managed to get past her assistant, always faced with the same conversation: Yeah, Van Damme's looking for her, isn't he? Yup, Jean-Claude. Give her the phone for a moment. I just want to tell her that four kicks in the head don't sound like Pow, bang, whoosh, bam, it isn't manly, but she didn't want to hear any of it. Well, she was the only one Irina Margareta Nistor.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In February 2021, the group has 4.300 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
