When Abramacabra met Eros, they were at the wake of a distant relative. Now he's very distant, he told her and introduced himself: I'm a guy with a sense of humor, not of amour. My name is Abramacabra, she replied and added: I am a girl with a sense of murder. Is the man in the coffin your work? Eh, I don't know how to use the scythe, she apologized adorably. After a week of going out together, Eros pluck up his heart and said, "Doesn't it seem obvious to you that I'm dying to get you?"

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In February 2021, the group has 4.300 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
