It was a quarter to and I was already in front of his door. The minute he opened the door, I jumped into his arms. I covered his mouth with my lips, my eyes, my breasts. Our bodies twirled like I was an ivy plant. He was trying to say something but I wouldn't let him. I was in no mood for chatting - we'd had enough of that on Messenger. We made love right there, in the hallway. We achieved climax in record time. And as we were lying there quiet and exhausted, the door opened. The man I had fallen in love online had just stepped into the house. He never mentioned a twin brother.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In March 2021, the group has 4.500 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
