Click. Operation room. My hands are holding a scalpel over an open venter. Click fast before I pass out. Plane. I'm at its end, tangling my feet through the open door. Click fast, an idiot is pushing me. Bed. I put it in and out hard, but I don't like my partner, she doesn't seem to breathe. Click fast, maybe I cum. Somewhere. A caterpillar is smoking a pipe on a mushroom from which I ate too. Click fast, at this point God's already calling me. I read a bit closer: teleprtingmchine. Fuck this Chinese shit.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In March 2021, the group has 4.500 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
