They saw each other, liked one each other, it was love at first sight, he viewed her a goddess, she loved him beyond words, they went on vacation in Venice, they ate octopi on the canal bank, when they returned he proposed, she said yes, he took care of everything, she chose the dress, he paid the orchestra, she let herself stolen, he sliced the cake, she started crying, he didn't understand, she smudged her eye shadow a little, he took her in his arms, she told him that there's a chance in a million, he believed her until the end. The goddesses are immortal.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In March 2021, the group has 4.500 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
