That Vanda lass (such a vamp, she has that four-legged pet of hers, Gicu, always drunk, who in turn has cuckoo), gossiping with Mr. Floarea (an upstart, a tad defiant, the marriage owner of Ion, a pig, as she describes him, always carrying with him a rooster) decided to marry their winged creatures. At the church, the priest, a talking parrot, stood behind the madam's rump, was making dirty signs. Ion's pecker plunged towards Vanda's behind when he came face to face with the cuckoo, who proved to be testier.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In March 2021, the group has 4.500 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, setting their texts within the limit of 500 symbols (in Romanian language, so in English the limit might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise with an almost daily changed topic. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
