Yer a wonder of a kid. Don't know what's gonna happen to you. How many times must I tell you you've got to eat the whole soup, not just the vegetables, 'cause that's why it's called soup, not stew. Stop laying 'em all in the middle of the bowl. Is this what you do at kindergarten too? Look at Iuda, he behaves. Eats up from the plate, greets people. You're just pig-headed. Miss Moise's mom. Miss Moise's mom. Let Moise come split the water, Iuda's thrown out the donation box from the church. Forget the soup, go.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In March 2021, the group has 4.300 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
