Get a job, don't be a slut, she keeps telling me. Answer her that it's a crisis out there, that you have no place to work, kick her out, stick her mouth with adhesive. Can you? Hell you can, it's his mommy. He obeys her; he jumps through the window if the crazy woman asks him. Exhausted, I find a job at the Sex Shop. I tell him I work at the Flex Shop. Oh, you sell tools, he nods. Yes, big ones, small ones, I dick him around. But that's it, today's sucks. I hear behind my back: I want a giant phallus. You're too ashamed to say dick. I turn around and come face to face with the bitch.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In March 2021, the group has 4.300 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
