She shouted that no one had loved her like that before and that damned I was if I stopped. He begged me to squeeze her as hard as I could. And when I saw how I got her blood up and how much she liked it, I squeezed her even tighter. Her whole body was shaking. Her moans penetrated the roof striking the sky. God, what a symphony. I've never heard anything more delicious in my life. The scene was worthy of an Oscar movie and we had the lead role. That is why, Your Honor, I did not expect her to be that indifferent at the end. And that cold.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In March 2021, the group has 4.300 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
