1. Don't crush the world's crown of wonder. 2. Make love in the time of cholera. 3. Don't start searching the lost time. 4. Don't be the catcher in the rye. 5. Don't do much ado about nothing. 6. Sing in the rain. 7. Don't kill a mockingbird. Or a seagull. No, it's not this one. What were we talking about? Oh, yes, about theater. 8. Don't spend time with fools under the moonlight. 9. Pretend it's holiday. 10. Don't look back in anger. Are there many more? You, lucifers, really like making fun of mortals, don't you?

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In March 2021, the group has 4.300 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
