I'm totally crazy about her. I left a bouquet of two hundred and one roses at her door for her birthday, along with a bottle of Armand de Brignac Rosé, and then I hid. An hour later, they were still there - with a note. Give them to your wife. If you do this again, I'll be the one to tell her. I've no clue how she found out. I hired someone to follow her when I couldn't, just because I wanted to take care of her. I know absolutely everything she does. Now she's in the tram, it's raining heavily outside, and she doesn't even have an umbrella.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In March 2021, the group has 4.300 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
