Wait, do not slam the door. Because I did not come to ask for him back. I came to teach you how to love him. We met each other in middle school, we got married at 20. You broke 23 years of marriage. Did you know that? You did not know that. Anyway, it doesn't matter cause he'll still come back to me. But when he comes back I want him to look the same, so pay attention. Bread only twice a week. Only healthy fats and without sugar. Other than that, meat with vegetables. And be careful cause he's allergic to nuts. So you wouldn't kill my baby. And when he'll want to leave, let him, alright?

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In April 2021, the group has 5.600 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
