Yeah, girl, I know everything about him: where he lives, with whom, how and in what way. I watched all his movies, I follow him on social media and on window. I am up to date with all the information. Who cares, girl, that he doesn't know who I am? I'll introduce myself. Tomorrow, like in every morning, after he drinks his coffee and smokes two cigarettes he will go out in town. I will just pass by and bump into him. I'll also fall down dramatically. When he gets close to me I'll tell him a poem, a fable, a monologue. So you can go and tell your mother she's a desperate actress, not me.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In April 2021, the group has 5.600 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
