Hi moms, I'm writing to you because I've always found useful advice on this group. I have a 287-month-old baby and I can't detach myself from him at all. I mention that he has not been breastfed since he was 96 months old. I can't do anything without hearing mom, mom and I kept postponing my return to work. We've been sleeping separately since the baby was 154 months old, but I'm still not ready to let him sleep in bed with someone else. What if he falls? I read about the child's autonomy and independence, but I wonder from how many months can you start letting him choose?

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In April 2021, the group has 5.600 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
