Yes man, love starts with a glance. Bang. Marks on the neck, on the lobe of the ear, the necked shoulders. The wings of butterflies on silky curves, blah-blah. It moves sweetly on the lips, yes, the taste of a kiss. With a smell of alcohol, some cocktail, or tequila, or beer. The tongue, the right taste of passion, savage flavors, the hormones go crazy, pheromones like atoms. If it doesn't choke you then it goes down with the saliva of the kisses melted in the delights. These are bullshit. It goes down in your paunch, a butterfly porridge and then it goes out on the other side looking like something that is not even Turkish delight.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In April 2021, the group has 5.600 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
