Hello, good morning, tell us the answer. The answer is stove. No, I am sorry, this is not the word. Let's take another call. Hello, let us hear the answer. The answer? You're a stupid bitch. Ah, of course, someone is in the mood for jokes. That wasn't the answer, dear sir. Let's try another call. Hello, good morning. Hello? Yes, I am listening, a little louder please, what is the answer? Hello, I'm begging you, please help me. I've called 112 and nobody came. Please, I think he'll come back soon. I can hear him..

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In May 2021, the group has 6.400 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, setting their texts within the limit of 500 symbols (in Romanian language, so in English the limit might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise with an almost daily changed topic. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
