Since Marilena has changed her job, the conjugal fights sound different. My lover, if you gather your socks now and only now, you would be provided with the breakfast. Moreover, you have the very unique opportunity to take out the garbage and to wash the dishes, for only then your wife won' go crazy. What do I hear? You got sick of being nagged and not being able to understand why does she talk like a lunatic? Have you ever asked yourself why is she always unsatisfied? Nothing simpler. Take her in your arms right now and say that you love her. You don't feel like it? No worries, neither does she.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In May 2021, the group has 6.400 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
