Do you know those women who walk into a room and turn your world upside down? They are beautiful, upright, determined, fulfilled. They do not actually walk into a room, they own it. They don't ask, they order with just a look. They don't walk, they step gracefully, but they make the biggest noise. Men want them, other women hate them. I have worked for two years to get there. Day after day after day. I forgot there was chocolate on earth. I trained in the cold and in the heat. I changed three the rapists. I stepped gracefully too. Everyone felt me, except him.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In May 2021, the group has 6.400 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, setting their texts within the limit of 500 symbols (in Romanian language, so in English the limit might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise with an almost daily changed topic. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
