Well, yes, I lied, but you didn't back down, either. I'm not 6'3, and you're not 5'7, either. I might not be sporting a six-pack, but you haven't got a D cup, either. I'm not 27, and neither do you. I haven't got a Lambo but those diamonds of yours aren't even swarovski. Neither you nor I haven't got original clothes, that's for sure. If I'd have told you the truth, would you have shown up on the date? At least I understand. Well, how else do you expect us to betrending on Insta? Now, you'd better come beside me and take a cool, filtered selfie, so the losers could see we hooked up and press the laic button.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In May 2021, the group has 6.400 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, setting their texts within the limit of 500 symbols (in Romanian language, so in English the limit might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise with an almost daily changed topic. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
