Today is Sandu's bachelor party. At the disco, his friends eyed the most beautiful woman and paid double the price. The voluptuous blonde was about to show him the most beautiful night of his life. She asked him to dance. Her long, plastic nails were caressing him slowly. She turned around and pressed the man's sweaty palms on her breasts. Sandu was already shaking. Are they real? Surgery. I like your cheekbones. Surgery. He was already smelling her hair and seductively slid his hand lower. He backed off in shock. No surgery down there, yet.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In May 2021, the group has 6.400 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, setting their texts within the limit of 500 symbols (in Romanian language, so in English the limit might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise with an almost daily changed topic. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
