Why did u tell me that you kissed the ground I had walked upon? It'd have been better if you just killed me instead. I am so tired, if only I could rest. Missus, 'scuse my interruption, can I ask you out for a drink? Hahaha. You know, we here prefer something more on the bright side, cheery side, something to everyone's tastes. 'Cuz we've had our fill of this depressive stuff. Y'know, I get that you're an actress and all, but can't you play something a lil' more like... like Stan and Bran? No need to get all upset now, we wanted to book someone like 'em, but they be too darn expensive! Actors be way cheaper.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In May 2021, the group has 6.400 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, setting their texts within the limit of 500 symbols (in Romanian language, so in English the limit might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise with an almost daily changed topic. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
