It's bad, we cannot hide it. At first, Vangogu lost his ear. Then, someone gave to the post chief a big nose, which had been found in front of the church. The small street was mostly crowded in the evening, one had his fingers tight with insulating tape, one held his penis worried, another lost one arm. These people were the best Christians, that's why the priest was worried. I was completely fine, I ate bananas on the bank the whole day. Then they announced it on television. That's it. God is Chinese.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In May 2021, the group has 6.400 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, setting their texts within the limit of 500 symbols (in Romanian language, so in English the limit might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise with an almost daily changed topic. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
