My dear Vama, thank you for welcoming me at your shore and for offering me sunrises on Bolero. You know, when I was once on my way to you I fell in love. I met him on that train that brings souls thirsty for you. I wasn't always fine when I visited you. You taught me that what I'm looking for looks for me and if there weren't clouds, the sunsets wouldn't be that great. You've changed since you've become famous. I've changed too. Do you want to know what stayed the same? He still has me X from the train in his phone.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In May 2021, the group has 6.400 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, setting their texts within the limit of 500 symbols (in Romanian language, so in English the limit might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise with an almost daily changed topic. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
