I ordered on alibabaexpress some gadgets that I found neither at the mall, nor on olx, and I really needed them. They validated my order and said the shipping would take almost a month. When the letter came in my mailbox I was as excited as when they made me a pioneer. I ran to the train station, where I had last picked up a package from the East. I waited for an hour in line and when I gave the letter to the lady at the counter, she said my package wasn't there. But where is it? In vama veche, at the big post office.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In May 2021, the group has 6.400 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, setting their texts within the limit of 500 symbols (in Romanian language, so in English the limit might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise with an almost daily changed topic. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
