Mom's aunts were 90 at the time I used to go to Cluj for my summer holidays. They said they'd known it since they themselves were children, and that it had always been old. I used to be awed whenever I went there - I would imagine taking all my friends there as a grown up to hold it. And I did grow up, and the aunts in question turned nearly 100. But it took me ages to return to Sétatér - it must have been around the time the stadium was being rebuilt. It beats me how they made it disappear altogether! There was nothing left for me there, not even a spot for me to count the concentric circles.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In June 2021, the group has 6.650 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, setting their texts within the limit of 500 symbols (in Romanian language, so in English the limit might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise with an almost daily changed topic. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
