For 30 years I have been trying to write correctly, according to the rules of the Romanian Academy. And I have written enough in college, in class and exams, then in life. The school of life has thrown enough people in my path that I have judged by my own criteria. Some spoke with only in a positive sense, others had other errors of expression. Simple people, otherwise good souls, but who didn't learn at the adequate time. I restrain myself when my ears are scratched by words, I sit still. The skhool of life. Sounds horrible, I can't text on the subject.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In August 2021, the group has 7.000 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
