Hey, Joița, ya think there ain't nobody like you, hoe. Yeah, you got that psychopathy course stuff, you is smart. I read everything written on faisbok. I know anything and everything: universal politics, five waves of pandemics, the latest gossip from the make-up wearing broads, influenkers, as they say, hussies from around town. I ain't missing nothin'. And faith iz with me. I post icons and priest Teodosie gives me likes. Pompilică is posting flowers alongside love messages every day for me and he makes me melt. Now that I've got a tik-tok too, what else could I even ask for.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In August 2021, the group has 7.000 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
