At the beginning, my nails were growing faster than usual. I kept on cutting them, but they wouldn't stop until they became hooves. Then horns and tail started to grow and my back became a giant withers. I couldn't even stand up anymore. I became a mountain of muscles and hormones. It's true that my masculinity and its annexes got to dimensions that made it hard for me to walk though. And all of this from a potency pill. I was an idiot. I didn't expect turning into a bull, literally.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In August 2021, the group has 7.000 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
