Put the big suitcase far in the back, to make room for the rest of them. Not like that. This way. Put these two on the top. Not one on the top of the other, 'cause they'll fall. Are you even listening to what I'm saying? Not like that! Gosh, you can't even organize this luggage. What are you doing with that in your hand? You're looking like a fool at me. Put that next the black one. What do you mean, the trunk isn't closing? If you put them the way I say, it will close. Gosh. You're ridiculous. God, who made me marry him? Waiiit, don't close it. Let me put my hat on the top.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In August 2021, the group has 7.000 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
