Miss, excuse me, I couldn't help but hear why you were arguing with the gentleman in line at the pastry. Miss, I know many with their dick, forgive me, left for a walk. Tell me, do you still want him? Of course, he betrayed you. This pill is what you need. You give him with a glass of hedge and it doesn't wake up. He wakes up, don't worry. Only the cuckoo dies. 1,000 RON costs, only that much. Thanks, you're a pretty girl. Here it goes, another desperate fool. 1,000 RON for an aspirin. What a smart boy you are, Gelu, damn your dick, what an entrepreneur.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In August 2021, the group has 7.000 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
