The dream made her jump to her feet. It was the first day of autumn and she was swinging her bare feet over the river when a white eagle fell from above with its wings crucified on the Vistula and the water turned
blood-red and started mourning in a human voice. Ill omen, shuddered Zofia. The bundle was ready in an hour and, pulling Pawel by the hand she dived into the woods. Let's go home, mother, cried the child, but dreams never deceived her. They were far away when the bombs butchered Warsaw.

(In September 2021, the group has 7.150 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days.
