Here it comeees, we will kick the bucket, that's the only thing I've heard. Get a lot of flour. And yeast as well, 'cuz we can be sure for how long are they going to keep us locked. Meat, don't forget about the meat. Do you hear what they say on TV? It's bad, it's all done, I'll call the courier to bring cans. And innumerable sweets, we need strength in order to survive. After the chaos have past , in a sort of festina lente or fss-fss, avoiding us contemptuously, I run to the scale and I froze. Ah, no, I'm lying, first I had the intention of going out of the house, but the door had narrowed, frightened by the end of the world.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In October 2021, the group has 7.275 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
