I made my rooster wake me up at 5 am and it was foggy because, when living in a castle, there's fog everywhere. Today we had a casting going on, we were organizing a kissing session. So, I put on my good lipstick, the one that doesn't stick to the crystal glasses. I open up the door, Gosh, this is going to be tiring. The house was full of toads. Some of them were cheating, having lipstick from the last session and thinking that they would trick me. I'm drinking my coffee while calling them over. I can do this. Line up, boys. If no one makes the cut this time either, I will buy myself a vibrator.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In October 2021, the group has 7.275 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
